    Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (4310436) dated (2/5/1443), a reference to the letter of the Ministry of Commerce No. (00418) dated (30/1/1443 AH),attached to the letter of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization No. (061) dated (4/1/1443) regarding stopping the procedures for clearing vehicles received from companies that did not submit their supply plan for the year 2021, and a reference to the Saudi Standard Specification No. (2864) related to the Saudi Standard for Fuel Economy (SAUDI CAFE) for light vehicles added to the Kingdom (2016-2020), which began to be applied on (3/21/1437 AH) corresponding to (1/1/2016).

    Since there are (15) companies that did not adhere to the supply plan according to Standard No. (2864) of the Saudi Standard for Fuel Economy (SAUDI CAFE) for new light vehicles, noting that the list is constantly updated according to the manufacturers' response according to the list shown on the website (www.sls. gov.sa), bearing in mind that this temporary ban applies to new light vehicles whose weight does not exceed 305 tons.
